BACK TO SCHOOL

THIS THURSDAY at the Varsity, it's our annual back to school party! DJ Davey Shindig will be spinning from 10PM til last call. Primo, Malibu, and Red Bull will be on special all night and our famous tall boys are just $5 (Bud Light, Coors Light, PBR, Steel Reserve). Be sure to check out our bomb shot-only satellite bar too! Ufc 117 Saturday August 7th at 4pm

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns on Saturday, August 7th and fight fans will be treated to a world championship showdown between middleweight title holder and pound for pound king Anderson "the Spider" Silva, and the number one challenger Chael Sonnen. Silva has dominated the 185-pound division since 2006, but in Sonnen, he may be meeting the one man with the style and determination to unseat him from his throne.

Also in action, welterweight contenders Jon Fitch and Thiago "Pitbull" Alves square off in thier long-awaited rematch, and welterwieght legend Matt Hughes takes on jiu-jitsu wizard Ricardo "Big Dog" Almeida.

Warm-up Wednesday & First Friday

$3 Dollar you call it this Wednesday and $2 you call it this Friday at The Varsity.

You could go downtown to look at all the "art" on display for First Friday, but why would you when you could come to The Varsity and experience the worlds finest art, the art of drinking. And just so you can display your best talents, we are going to give you Wednesday as a rehearsal day. So come down to The Varsity, pick your pleasure for only $2, and have fun. After all there is only one First Friday this month.

NCAA and NFL football seasons are just around the corner! Make Varsity your spot for the fall. We've got all the football packages. That means every game, any time of the day. We're open 24-hours with breakfast and a full menu available so there's never a question of whether we'll be here for your game.

We didn't think we were crazy, but we have to be nuts to sell mugs of domestic beer for only 99 cents plus tax and pitchers of domestic beers for only $4.99 plus tax every weekday from 6am till 2pm.

That's not all, we are down right certifiable for letting you choose any mug of beer you want for only $3 any weekday from 2pm till 6pm. You want a Mirror Pond? $3 please. Oh a Dead Guy Ale you say? Let me think..........Oh yeah, that's $3.
