Summer State of Mind

Bud Light Lime is now $8 a pitcher!

And Sam Summer is in!

Summer Ale is refreshing, crisp, and tangy. Brewed with an exotic mix of spices, the flavor is perfect for a summer day.

More Info:

Wheat ales originated near Brussels, a wheat growing region in the 14th century. The style got its name from its lighter color and cloudiness or veil, the result of suspended wheat proteins in the beer. These crisp ales were often brewed wit coriander, juniper berries, and orange peel. We decided to use lemon zest and grains of paradise, to give our Samuel Adams Summer Ale its unique flavor. Grains of paradise, also known as Malguita Pepper, are more closely related to cardamon than pepper and according to medieval legend were thought to have aphrodisiac properties.

Refreshing, crisp, and tangy, Summer Ale is brewed with wheat malt, lemon zest, and Grains of Paradise, a long-forgotten and mysterious brewing spice used by medieval brewers. This mix of spices creates a crisp and spicy flavor and body.

Ingredients: Two Row Pale, Malted Wheat, Tettnang Tettnanger Noble Hops
